Guardian Wealth Management - Demoralising experience
I went to GWM in Doha to talk about opening a CRB SIPP and a CRB bond in Doha, hoping for something like 5% returns. The Account Manager (AM) said I should expect around 12% - yeah right. Took their advice on investments including Mansion House student accommodation which I subsequently discovered had been panned in the press - they eventually went bust. Left Doha and returned to UK but might as well have fallen into a black hole as far as GWM were concerned. No contact from GWM for almost a year. Finally got allocated a new AM from the Geneva office and felt a bit more secure but that lasted 6 months. New AM appointed about a year ago and tried to contact him last week. No reply. Looked on LinkedIn and found he'd left the firm 2 months ago. Scandalously not a word from GWM about the change. Over the course of the last 5 years investments have been made and sold as each new AM arrived giving the impression this is a fee earning exercise for GWM. The SIPP gained 21% thanks largely to a fluke doubling of a £20K investment. As for the bond I might as well have put the money in the bank at 1% interest p.a. I have completely lost faith in an organisation that obviously has no management oversight and continuity of service. The intention now is to transfer my investments to another "manager" and demand the return of some of the fess that they have taken for this shocking performance.
Guardian Wealth Management in Dubai, Dubai - Ripped me off
They sold me a series of products that did not fit my risk profile and/or financial aspirations. When I requested my financial adviser ring me back all I got was an obnoxious little bully called John Hasberry on the call. I found this little man an arrogant and un-responsible individual who didn't seem to understand the basics of what they were consulting on. I don't think this guy was even qualified - felt like a double glazing salesman if you get my drift. Really not impressed by this company - suggest you stay away from them. When i started to dig into this company I found a few worrying things that didn't seem to make sense. For existing customers I would suggest you ask them whether they really operate under license in all these jurisdictions - in particular Germany and Dubai. They also seem to have a chequered history re their English past and references to wrong doings with Marlene Shelton and references to code of ethics.
Guardian Wealth Management - After a very impressive sales pitch in Belgium, I signed on. Only once I started to ask questions they disappear.
They use a lot of big words to try to confuse you, then say *** things like "the value of your plan going down is a good thing" or "your plan will grow as long as you continue to contribute". In the sales process every answer is positive, "very flexible" "move the money around" "use for life events" - then, once in you find that you cannot stop/decrease contributions without walking away from it all, the money once in can't come out till you are dead. They will do anything for you as long as you are providing them with money, as soon as you ask a question they disappear - about a year now I have been working on getting them to answer questions about my money.
Guardian Wealth Management in Brussels, Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest - They are only interested in your money, very poor level of service
Ridiculous Company, a very good example of Wall Street style greed. They do not provide you with any advice, I even asked for a copy of my policy and they never provided it. They only call if they need money. I think they should be sued. I cannot really advise anybody to give them money. I hope to see my money back one day.I think it is much better to ask somebody you personally know for advice or do it yourself but not Guardian Wealth. This is a complaint from a serious person who always worked hard to earn its own money.

Guardian Wealth Management Scam
Guardian Wealth Management are a scam. No license in Europe and just a badly run license in Qatar. The writing is on the wall and the consultants are leaving. They lie to recruit. They lied in an attempt to get Government grants. Why do these offshore companies like Guardian Wealth Management just lie all the time. Guardian will soon be shut down in Europe. The regulator knows what's going on now. Guardian are being investigated in Qatar where they are breaking the law selling QROPS. Buy QROPS online not from scam companies. Watch all the consultants leave before the year end. The sinking ship will soon be empty... More news on Guardian Wealth Management scam will be posted shortly. Guardian Wealth Management will close by Christmas.
Guardian Wealth Management Belgium
The financial advisor was fairly pushy throughout but against my better judgement I signed up to a savings scheme from Luxembourg. After the first consultation, he looked into some savings options (or so he said) and said I was morally obliged to sign-up thanks to all his hard work. Anyway, I had a look at the account and it seemed fine so I went ahead with the process. He ticked all the security check boxes for me and said he'd deal with the paper work. After I handed over all my details, I heard nothing for weeks. I emailed him for an update - nothing. Then I got a letter from a company in Hungary - not sure why they were suddenly based there - merely stating 'Your application for the account has been rejected'. That was it. i contact Guardian Wealth Management to explain. The advisor didn't respond, so I contacted the office in Hong Kong. I eventually got a response saying they'd look into it but surprisingly, I received nothing. So basically, something went wrong and they cut off all contact. What a nice bunch... I'd really recommend against these arrogant, pushy and untrustworthy bunch.
